PASADENA, Texas (KTRK) -- A man is in the hospital, and a Pasadena business owner is picking up the pieces after a truck plowed into her shop early Saturday morning.
The crash happened around 1:30 a.m. near Preston Avenue and South Street.
ABC13 obtained surveillance video showing the truck slamming into a parked car, jumping two curbs, and crashing through a brick wall into Dariela's Boutique. The impact also knocked out one of the brick support beams holding up the carport.
Police said a man in the truck was taken to the hospital with injuries, but didn't have an update on his condition or what caused the crash.
"If it has to come from our money, then if that means building it up and starting from scratch, if we have to do all of that to restart again, I will," she said.
Galvan said she tried to recover what she could, but lost half of her inventory, including clothing, hangers, and shelves-- totaling at least $10,000 in damages.
Crews spent the day picking up debris, including bricks that went flying across the parking lot.
Her business is next door to her parents' shop, which was not affected by the incident.
Galvan said she frequently works late nights and was working until 1 a.m. Friday, the night before the crash.
"Thank God we weren't here when this happened because we could have been here," she said.

PASADENA, Texas — A fire broke out on the roof of a Pasadena warehouse around noon Thursday, melting several solar panels and prompting a large response from multiple fire departments. No injuries were reported.
The fire started on the roof of a warehouse near Red Bluff Road and Bay Area Boulevard, according to the Pasadena Fire Marshal. Crews from Pasadena, Seabrook, and Deer Park responded and quickly brought the fire under control.
A maintenance crew was working on the roof when the fire ignited. Investigators believe the fire may have been caused by a solar panel malfunction, though they are still working to determine whether the blaze was triggered by the work being done or by a fault in the panel itself.
Aerial footage showed several solar panels damaged or melted by the fire.
“This was an outside fire, obviously, and on the roof there’s not much shade,” Pasadena Fire Chief Lanny Armstrong said. “We had to rotate crews back and forth. Right now, we’re just monitor everyone for hydration, and send them to rehab on a regular occasion and rotating crews.”
Despite the intense heat, officials said the fire did not spread inside the building, and the business operating within was cleared to resume normal operations.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
A company, Lineage, issued a statement Thursday that read:
"Lineage’s top priority is the health and safety of our employees, partners, and the communities in which we live and operate. We are grateful there were no injuries at our facility in Pasadena, TX, and we thank the first responders who assisted in suppressing the fire. We continue to work closely with local officials and will provide updates as appropriate."
