This includes not only removing visible mold but also addressing the root causes of mold growth, such as moisture issues.
How to Contain a Mold Problem Without Cross Contaminating Your Property and Belongings
Identify the fungal site and where it is growing. Then, determine how far the deposition contamination spread. Once the spores are airborne they spread; those areas need to be cleaned up as well. They may not be visible, but you could be breathing them in without noticing. Wear protective clothing that covers your eyes, lungs. hands, and clothing. Operate source removal. Use an air scrubber, negative air machine, and HEPA filtration system to clean where there is deposition. Conduct a post-test under a microscope for clearance.
What we fix
Cleaning and Sanitation: When you discover mold, the most important thing is to clean and sanitize your building structure, along with any other contents that may have been affected.
Air Quality: Toxic mold not only exists where you can see it but in the air as well. This is a disturbing fact that many don’t realize. We’ll deodorize your air as we remove the mold.
HEPA Air Filtration and Vacuuming: We use state-of-the-art HEPA air filtration and vacuuming systems to purify your air, making it safe to breathe again. HEPA stands for, “High-Efficiency Particulate Air.”
Implement Prevention Measures: Not only do we work on mold remediation now, but we’ll also put prevention measures in place to prevent it from returning in the future.

Our Process
Assess the Damage: When you give us a call, we’ll dispatch a team to your property immediately. We’ll work to assess the damage, evaluating not only how far the mold has spread but how poor your air quality is as well. We’ll mitigate the mold source immediately.
Salvage Personal Items:After assessing the initial damage, we’ll walk through your property and remove items from your home or business. Once removed, we’ll determine which things we can salvage and which we have to discard. The sooner you call us, the better chance you have of recovering your items.
Remove as Much Damage: Once we’ve removed your personal items, we’ll then work to remove the mold. If we’ve identified a particular source, we’ll remove that as well. This is the time when we’ll begin using our cleaning equipment to remove mold from inside your building while filtering the air.
Remove Irreparable Materials: After we’ve begun cleaning your building, we’ll have a better chance to evaluate which materials are irreparable, thus impacting your health or the structural integrity of your home. We’ll work to remove these irreparable materials so that we can restore your building.
Insurance Process and Rebuild: Now that we’ve removed the damaged parts of your home, we can begin working with your insurance company to file the correct claims. Once cleared, we’ll work to start rebuilding your property and restoring it to a suitable living condition.
Follow Up: Mold can be tricky, which is why we’re not going to leave you on your own. Our technicians will routinely follow up to ensure that we’ve gotten rid of the mold in your home and that it’s stayed out. This is the Disaster Response difference on which you can rely.
Technologies We Use
Infrared Camera: We rely on infrared cameras extensively when it comes to testing for mold. Our infrared cameras allow us to detect mold in hidden areas, ensuring that we don’t miss a single spore. Infrared cameras give us the ability to see moisture that is trapped in walls and ceilings, which could be contributing to mold growth.
Moisture Meter: The primary cause of mold is moisture. That’s why we use a moisture meter to detect areas where humidity could be hard to spot. We’ll work to identify the cause of the moisture and then dry the area using dehumidifiers to ensure that mold does not return.
Ozone Generator: Our ozone generator sanitizes and deodorizes the air using nothing but oxygen. The machine causes oxygen particles to collide, releasing the deodorant. Not only do we find this beneficial when cleaning the air, but we also find that it helps treat surfaces damaged by mold as well.
HEPA Purifier: Many home and business owners don’t realize that mold isn’t just unsightly but that it can impact air quality as well. Once mold becomes airborne, it can be challenging to remove. Thankfully, we utilize HEPA air purifiers and vacuums to purify air particles, making it safe for you, your family, and your employees to breathe again.
