What Tools Does Disaster Response Use for Water Damage Clean-Up?
We only use the best equipment! With our extensive experience in the Dearborn restoration industry, we've acquired state-of-the-art tools designed to tackle a wide range of challenges. This experience has also allowed our technicians to identify which type of equipment is best for a particular situation. Some of the most common water damage restoration tools we use include:
Infrared Cameras
Our infrared cameras give us the ability to see moisture in walls and ceilings that is not visible to the naked eye, almost like having "X-ray" vision. This capability allows us to detect and address trapped and hidden humidity, significantly reducing the risk of mold growth.
Moisture Meters
We use moisture meters to measure moisture levels in cellulose material. Before and after the drying process, we will conduct moisture readings in all areas of your property. If we detect moisture in an unaffected area of your building, we'll get to work quickly to dry it.
Air Movers
This equipment is designed to work in conjunction with our dehumidifiers. While our dehumidifiers extract moisture from the air and convert it to a liquid, our Air Mover helps to circulate this moisture in the air so that the dehumidifier can effectively remove it.
Ozone Generators
These advanced tools enable us to cleanse affected surfaces and the air in a more effective manner. Ozone Generators work by causing oxygen molecules to implode, making them a valuable deodorization tool.
Xtreme Xtractor
This tool is great for tackling tough moisture after water damage. It allows us to apply direct pressure to a surface, like a carpet, that has soaked up water. The pressure helps draw out the water, making it easier to remove.
Top 3 Types of Water Damage You Should Know About
Water damage can strike without warning and can wreak havoc on your property, leaving you feeling hopeless and overwhelmed. Whether it's from a burst pipe, a severe storm, or an overflowing appliance, your property needs immediate water damage clean-up in Dearborn, MI, to prevent further harm. Here are the top three types of water damage you should know about:
Clean Water Damage
This type of water damage happens from a "clean" source, such as rainwater or a broken pipe in your home. It's easier to clean up than others on this list but can still cause extensive property damage when ignored.
Gray Water Damage
Gray water damage stems from appliances such as toilets without feces, washing machines, and dishwashers. Gray water sometimes contains bacteria and contaminants that can make you or your family sick.
Black Water Damage
The name alone indicates the severity of this type of water damage. It's caused by backed-up sewer lines, river flooding, and standing water that supports bacteria growth. Black water presents serious health hazards and needs to be handled by professional water damage contractors.
If you suspect your home or business has been damaged by one or more of the types of water above, take the following steps:
- Be Safe: Turn off all electricity running through your property. Don't go near or touch any water you believe to be contaminated.
- Stop the Source of Water: If you're able, put a stop to the water at its source. That way, you can prevent more damage.
- Call Disaster Response: Contact our water damage company ASAP for water restoration services. Our team is available 24/7 to respond to emergencies.
Our Process for Water Damage Restoration in Dearborn, MI
Having a water damage restoration company by your side who knows how to remediate moisture is a key factor in getting your life back on track. At Disaster Response, we have refined our process over 40+ years of water damage clean-up experience. That way, we can provide customers with reliable, comprehensive service when they need it the most.
We utilize powerful pumps and vacuums to eliminate standing water from your property. Swift water removal is essential in minimizing damage and lowering the likelihood of mold growth. Our team is dedicated to ensuring efficient water extraction to prevent any additional complications.
After extracting water from your property, we dry and dehumidify the impacted areas. We use industrial-grade dehumidifiers and air movers to do so to eliminate moisture from walls, floors, and furniture. Proper drying helps prevent warping, swelling, and the growth of mold.
Whenever we deal with water damage, we have to address the potential contaminants and bacteria that can enter your home. We make sure to thoroughly clean and sanitize all affected areas to create a safe living environment. This involves cleaning carpets, upholstery, and personal belongings. Our technicians also use antimicrobial treatments to prevent mold and bacterial growth.
The final step in the process is the restoration of your home to its pre-damage condition. This comprehensive restoration process may encompass a range of tasks, from minor repairs such as replacing drywall and installing new carpeting to major reconstruction efforts. Rest assured that Disaster Response is fully equipped to manage all aspects of water damage restoration, from start to finish.
- Maintenance: Have your business or home's roof, appliances, and plumbing inspected by professionals to spot early signs of wear and tear.
- Water Alarms: If there is a flood or leak in your home, a water alarm can alert you so that you can take action immediately.
- Drainage: Your home needs proper drainage systems in place at all times. To prevent water buildup, be sure to unclog your downspouts and gutters.
- Cracks and Gaps: Be sure to seal up any cracks and gaps in your property's foundation to limit water from getting inside.

The lecture was streamed live on the Islamic Institute of America's YouTube channel, which recently hosted a memorial service for Hizbullah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah. Notably, Ahmad Qazwini delivered the invocation at an NAACP conference in May, where President Joe Biden was the keynote speaker, and he attended alongside his father, Hassan Qazwini, the imam of the Islamic Institute of America.

You Can Buy Politicians In This Country In The Same Way You Buy A Slave Or A Prostitute; They All Have A Price, That's Why AIPAC Bought Them All
Ahmad Qazwini: "We have to sit down and really come up with some efforts in how to change this continuous blind support for the Zionists and we can change it internally, brothers and sisters, we can change it because politicians in this country worship themselves, they worship their seats. You can buy them in the same way that you buy a slave. Some will even go in the same way that you would buy a prostitute. You buy these individuals, they all have a price, that's why AIPAC has bought all of them. The more money it gives them, the more they will be pro-Israel and pro-Zionist.
"Let's Raise $100 Million So We Can Buy Trump"
"It's not a coincidence, brothers and sisters. I was reading the other day the wife of Sheldon Adelson, Miriam Adelson, Zionist, billionaire Zionist here, right? She's promised, I don't know $200 million for Donald Trump if he gets rid of the Palestinians. If someone takes a check out and gives Donald Trump $200 million to destroy the Zionists, he's going to do it. But you know what the problem is? We don't put our money where our mouths are. We just like complaining. You don't think we Shi'ites have money?

A Paris Baguette location, the French-inspired bakery café known for its pastries, brewed coffee, breads and cakes, is now open in Dearborn on Michigan Avenue.
This Paris Baguette had a soft opening last week and is inside the Boardwalk Marketplace building which is also the former home of Andiamo Dearborn.
It's the second Michigan location for the national chain offering a selection of croissants, over 100 different pastries, cake slices, whole cakes, customized cakes, sandwiches, and breakfast items, such as ham and cheese croissants. There are also fresh baguettes, loaves of sourdough, multi-grain and croissant bread. Paris Baguette is a self-serve style of bakery where you grab a tray, peruse, and choose your baked goods.

The Dearborn location is larger than the Birmingham cafe.
"There are different features, more seating, large tiled walls with a different design, massive murals, and a domed showcase that displays the pastries," Zahr said.
He has plans for more metro Detroit Paris Baguette locations.
The next target areas, Zahr said, include downtown Plymouth and Northville, Bloomfield Hills, Troy, and Sterling Heights.
A grand opening is set for when doors open 7 a.m. Friday at 21400 Michigan Ave. The full Paris Baguette menu will be offered and they will have a special giveaway of a Tiffany & Co., necklace and bracelet.
Paris Baguette Dearborn hours are 7 a.m.-midnight Thursday-Saturday and 7 a.m.-11 p.m. Sunday-Wednesday. At Boardwalk Marketplace, Paris Baguette has a separate entrance and takes up space originally planned for a co-working space.
Plans for the entire Boardwalk Marketplace include an Eataly-style concept offering fine dining in a casual setting with an open kitchen concept, owner Karl Makky of the restaurant group Culinary Innovations, told the Free Press. A spring opening is planned for the new dining concepts at Boardwalk Marketplace.

Sam Salamey, the Chief Judge of 19th District Court in Dearborn, Michigan, said in a September 22, 2024 interview on NBN TV (Lebanon) that the recent pager attacks against Hizbullah operatives was planned by the CIA and NATO and executed by Israel. He explained that Hizbullah is a designated terrorist organization in the United States and that many of the individuals recently targeted in Lebanon had been previously wanted by the U.S. for their involvement in the 1983 Beirut barracks bombing. He said that the CIA had been involved in delaying Hizbullah's original shipment of pagers and replacing them with the booby-trapped units. In addition, Salamey said that 11 students from the University of Michigan are standing trial for supporting Gaza and the Palestinian "resistance," and he said that students at all the prestigious universities in the United States are being harassed and denied their basic civil rights just because they are "making a stand" in accordance with the U.S. Constitution. Salamey works in the Dearborn government, which is headed by Mayor Abdullah Hammoud.

Judge Sam Salamey: "Obviously, I am not a military expert, but according to the reports that are revealed little by little, and according to the leaks of some American newspapers, the Americans were the real planners of the pager attack, and it was only carried out at zero hour, by the Israelis. They decided the zero hour and carried out the attack.
"A pager shipment arrived at one of the airports in eastern Europe, ad it was delayed on purpose, under the pretext that there was a mistake in its weight, and then, the shipment was switched with another shipment which contained the booby-trapped batteries. Then, they let the shipment pass through.
"This is a CIA operation. After 30 years, all the information is disclosed [in the U.S.], and hopefully, all of you will still be alive... Starting tomorrow, the truth will become clearer day by day. This is a CIA operation par excellence..."
Interviewer: "What you are saying is very serious..."
Salamey: "The perpetrators were the Israelis, but the planning was clearly done by NATO.

"The [Hizbullah] martyrs that we are talking about were wanted by the U.S. even before they were wanted by Israel. They were wanted because the Americans still have [open] cases...
"Some believe that these people planned or carried out the attacks on the Marine headquarters and the U.S. Embassy in Beirut.
